Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15048 for PC & Build 15047 for Mobile Insider

- 14393 is nowhere near as smart and efficient as 15048 was..
- it feels kinda clunky in comparison..

- I'm pondering whether to jump back into the Insider Preview thing,
- or just hang tight and wait for the next public-release update..

- nothing sharpens the mind like losing everything in one hit..

I get the same feeling when I boot back to AU. Because I spend 90% of my time on the IP, I start looking for things or doing things that just aren't there! Used to seeing 150-160 processes running and only see about 90, and I have to remember where I am! Thought the NightLight was busted...same reason.

I like the IP's very much too, real lightweight preflights, but still having issues with Edge!

May I ask what happened to your build 14393 SSD and what data you lost? [emoji51]

Don't you make back-ups / clones on a regular base? I'd be lost in translation having to do a clean install - with all my flight sim apps and tweaks - from scratch.

As soon as you install 14393 with all it's updates and set it to Insider, it will automatically be on Slow Ring to start. That means you will get 15048 (now released to Slow) almost immediately....if all goes well.

edit.....backup up what you have now. Sure you knew that, but just a reminder.

Buildfeed is not an official source for anything. They simply guess and try to predict based on what their "un-named sources" tell them. That's all, nothing more.

And, no, 15051 is not out.
