I'm testing this now on a freshly installed 15042 Hyper-V vm. Not doubting Chris' words, though, I heard this from elsewhere, too, I just have to test it by myself.
It just might be as simple as Microsoft realizing the upgrade delivery was faulty; it upgraded to 15046 OK without issue, but simply downloaded too much stuff which then lead to ISO making issues. My English 15046 PRO x64 UUP upgrades, both UK & US English downloaded almost 10 GB which simply can't be correct.
Testing as we speak, will post here and UUP to ISO tutorial when ready.

One part of beta testing is to deliberately "throw a spanner in the works", and see how everything recovers - sometimes X86 is faulty, sometimes x64, indicating it may not be a quality control issue, so much as discovering how users workaround the issues - we are as much the testbed as the OS builds are!

UUPtoISO for 15046
X64 seems to be OK now, Dick - see my link in
post #114. Just did an upgrade from the ISO I showed ceated there.
Ok, I have no way to test that without restoring back to 15042 and starting over.

No luck. Someone told me in Skype that UUP to ISO is working now with 15046 upgrade but whatever I do, I do not get it working with x64 upgrade. The x32 version is OK, UUP to 32 bit ISO works.
Still the same almost 10 GB download, still the same errors.
BTW: Kari do you - by any change - have the Dutch x64 / x86 nl-nl ready for download for me, much appreciated!

To tell you the truth I simply cannot explain this. I've never heard of it. I have an a Windows 8 key and a Windows 8.1 key I have used for what seems forever (since 2014) to install Windows 10. Each are linked to one of two hotmail accounts and display either Marty Felker or Martin Felker. The physical machine I use now was installed from a 14393 ISO using the Windows 8.1. After upgrading to 15031 I happened to run the program PK0setup which is one of several portable apps that can scan and print Microsoft Product Keys. It displayed the Windows 10 Pro Insider key as being different from the 8.1 key I used. I trashed that VM immediately after I installed it - I only wanted to test the key. If I had more information (other than the key(s) themselves of course!:) I share that. Many strange things have happened in my decades in this field (including a data transmission which was corrupted by a cosmic ray switching a "0" to a "1" <very long story> but this is one of the weirdest. For all I know the key won't work. I'll never know until I try. An imagae of the working is available to me naturally (as well as my other mutli boot environments Windows Server 2016 and openSUSE Tumbleweed).
There is nothing strange about that, that is how Windows 10 works. All is normal.

15046 PRO x64 ISO links, feeling somewhat responsible because UUP to ISO method as told in my tutorial is not working with this build upgrade.
I am sorry but as I have no use for Home edition and 32 bit Windows, I don't do ISO images for them. I can only offer
