Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15042 for PC & Build 15043 for Mobile Insider
-
I just noticed something at build feed:
Read the build Name/type, it says inmarket.
Does this mean build 15042 is locked now and is going to be the official build number for the Creators release? Only the Revision Number would change for each time MS find and fix bugs?
No, because if you click on the link for Find more builds from rs2_release_inmarket you'll see that 15010 was also listed as that build.
Can't find "run at startup" in it's settings.
EDIT: Ninja'd by F14 lol

I had trouble with OneDrive too, it just suddenly crashed. Well not OneDrive itself but the SysTray app did, without any error messages. Found a problem in Event Viewer, but I can't find the entry right now. Sry.
A simple reboot solved it for me.

Yes, I noticed that, this is why I asked the question in the first place. From what I understand the 15010 could have been a good candidate for release, but because they had still so much time before hitting dead line they decided to add even more features? And now they have multiple builds that could be potential official releases. 15010, if not getting next feature build completed in time, or now 15042.1, because the features are completed but not yet completely bug fixed?

Poor choice of words on my part. Because OneDrive is "user" specific, it's "at signon". Sorry....

Ugh, thanx, I was looking at it's properties. I set it to start up and now it does, also set it to start in hidden icons.. Usually not concerned much about it but had to share some files with a friend and had to go to Start all the time because it would be gone after a restart but otherwise worked.

What I would do if I was MS, I would take those 1002 revision fixes from 15010 and merge them into revision 1 of 15042 and then continue to revision all new features added since 15010 and fix those components too.

All of that might merge in next update but should be in public release for sure.
