Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15042 for PC & Build 15043 for Mobile Insider
-
Super smooth download (via UUP) and install process this time around. I am glad MS took the time to fix the server side UUP issues.
Only problem I am seeing with this build is that the Lastpass Edge extension isn't accepting my password and logging into my Lastpass account. The Chrome extension works fine in Chrome on this Insider build so it is not a question about the OS but the Edge extension.
Anyone else having issues with the Edge Lastpass extension?

Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15042 for PC
UUP install worked as advertised. Malwarebytes Premium is now working side by side with Windows Defender. No problems identified.

Just updated. With an AMD APU crap 800, supposedly with dual core 1.7 GHz. Took nearly three hours. At least Malwarebytes pro ver 3 isn't making the Services and Controller app go ballistic any more.

Not for me. Malwarebytes 3 still knocks out Defender

Updated perfectly on my physical machine. Maybe a 1/2 hour or so. However before rebooting tried creating an ISO but ran into this error.

I have 3 VM's I can try creating an ISO but certainly an ISO will put up on the Internet in a day or so. What I'm going to probably do is due a full reset and reinstall after I finish the VMs.

On what do you base that? I mean, we got build 15031 two weeks ago yet the last Insider ISO downloadable from Microsoft is still 15025. Even that one was only released due buggy upgrade delivery, otherwise the latest ISO would be even older.
I see no reason to believe Microsoft has changed their policy to release ISO images only when a build is released to Slow Ring.

Second smooth UUP update. Took about 36 min.

I said that ISO would appear on the Internet not that Microsoft would release a sanctioned version. I'll certainly install the "OEM" version of the Creator Update when it is released in April but until then I'll test as best I can with what is available. I'm disappointed I could not create what I suppose would be an "official" ISO but perhaps I'll luck out with a VM.

to see if an xbox controller works without that stupid mouse lock out/beep problem...

This UUP install was surprisingly fast. I started up my computer and saw this thread about build 15042 being released. Without my checking for updates first I made my Macrium image. When I went to check for updates this build was already downloaded and ready for a restart. :)
