Intel should be very worried about AMD's Ryzen 7 processors

Yea Steve.....that is a possibility but I really doubt that Intel will drop their prices to be in line with AMD pricing....

Wouldn't it nice to see a Processor price war like the old time Gas price wars........

Far too early to say exactly what will happen, a lot will depend on how the things perform in the real world compared to lab tests.

Micro Center has cut prices on a good number of the better Intel processors, some deep cuts too.........but they are for in-store pickup only so if you live close enough to one of their stores you could take advantage now.......

I am not an AMD fanboy but I am a cost conscious consumer and for the money AMD is still a good option....

Well, if you don't need top of the line Intel to compete with the AMD's, then the cost difference won't be as much. I don't want to say, "I have the most powerful chip AMD makes", I would rather say "My chip is faster than that chip"

True. Most people equate Intel to quality and reliability and lower thermals. One generation of chips won't change this mindset amongst people and like you mentioned, most people might actually buy the price reduced Intel CPU instead of AMD.

They have always done this, nothing special, and especially nothing to do with AMD's release of Rhyzen.
