    Microsoft Sticky Notes app update

A brand new Sticky Notes for Windows has arrived! Thanks to a new and improved design, added intelligence and Pen support, it is now easier than ever to quickly capture and add context to all your notes.

    Version notes

    Version number: Varies by device

    • We like to make it as easy as possible for you to capture all your notes, big or small, so we've added the ability to create a new note straight from the jump list.
    • We've changed our font from Segoi UI Emoji to Segoe UI for a few different reasons, the most important being that we now support \_(ツ)_/. An important change, we think you'll agree.
    • Our text was doing a little dance when you tried to resize your notes. It's taken its dancing shoes off now and will stay still as you resize.
    • We've made a few little UI adjustments to the upgrade prompt, such as removing the Later button. You'll now find a neat little X in its place.
    • Finally, we made a few adjustments so that the app will be speedier at launch. Enjoy!

This might be because my previous post was from a Surface Pro 4 which includes Windows Hello biometric facial identification for signing in.

Yeah there have been a few of late. The sticky notes one came through on the 9th so you prob already got it last week. I was just a bit miffed the camera app update got mentioned on here and whilst one of our home PCs got it, our main machine hasn't. Dencal might be right with the explanation but the machine that did receive it is just a BRIX box, doesn't even have a camera or anything fancy. The main pc obediently picked up all the others recent ones like sticky notes, xbox, voice recorder, calculator but the camera app update remains an elusive mystery. I guess it'll get offered it eventually. I seem to remember one PC getting a facebook update once whilst the other one did not for some strange reason until several days later. I guess there must be method to madness in how they deliver. For the most part both PCs generally get the app updates at the same time but it's these occasional oddities that puzzle.
