Still stuck on build 15041. I continue to read the tea leaves from Dona's no release tweets and figure no release until a new build shows up on buildfeed. Does this make sense? Is anybody following buildfeed?

Marty, not sure how to answer that. Although, I do doubt Buildfeed is the trigger for MS to release a new build. This is a quote from the Buildfeed site:
Who runs BuildFeed? Is this an official Microsoft site?
BuildFeed is ran and maintained by a group of enthusiasts. Microsoft are not involved in the site in any way.
I just moved the SSD (physically) to my new Mac! As a mac user I use Winclone to back-up / clone my Windows SSD for onsite and offsite (cloud back-up).
1. Moved the SSD to new Mac
2. Rebooted to macOS
2. Formatted the SSD in new Mac (FAT)
3. Restored the clone from my NAS back to it.
Please note that hardware based the MP 3.1 and MP 5.1 are very much the same. I could just have popped it in, but choose to do a reformat, it's just a habit.
4. Rebooted my new Mac, choosing the Win8 partition
5. Called the MS helpdesk for new key and the rest was 'history'! [emoji41]
In case - for safety - you want to clone your Windows to a new / reformatted other SSD/HDD, you can use a 2 disk stand-alone (no PC needed) clone copier e.g Sharkoon. This is a set-top 2 bay that will 1:1 clone your Windows SSD/ HDD. Very convenient and easy in use! Worth every euro or buck how you wanna call it!
In case your new SSD/HDD is bigger, use Disk Management to extend the cloned partition with the bigger portion your new SSD/HDD is
E.g. 128GB (current)-> 250GB (new) you can use the rest of the new SSD/HDD as an additional partition C:\ + D:\, or expand one partition with +125GB to the full 250GB C:\ when needed!
Good luck making your move! 🤞
Cheers
Edit: I forgot to mention, but you did ask. I have a lot of applications in Windows 10 too, mainly related to Falcon BMS 4.33, my flight-simulator! It's a two 24" normal screen and one 22" touch screen set-up. And of course other apps for the daily use when I'm booted into Windows 10.
What are your points of concern, mentioning that you have a lot of applications? Will see your response later this morning.
I need a good nights' sleep now. Bye!
Update:
#WindowsInsiders know the routine: we are looking at selfhost data today & tomm on our new build candidate. No new builds on Wed/Thurs.Tweet

About those pesky updates for Defender. Just got a message about pending update so I tried a theory of mine. Opened WD first and tried update from there. It updated and than threw message about it failing again but it did successfully update. Than I went to WU and tried updating from there but in a second it came out as finished. So it's fully updated contrary of what message said.
