    - no problem..
Yeah, when I rebooted, it picked it up automatically. UI is still cracked/broken/splintered and busted. :)

When switching motherboard you may have to call Microsoft for re-activation. You need to have a good explanation so they will allow it to be activated. A good reason would be that the old MB died, and the manufacturer/retailer swapped the MB for a different one.

I am not 100% sure if they will activate a new MB of different brand though...
Apparently its a bug w/ 15025 in how it handled re-activation. but indeed encountered Settings crash w/ this build.

A follow-up on my second test PC, the one with the MSI Z87-G45 motherboard. I couldn't get past the reboot half-way through installation for two tries. After the third try, I powered down the system when it went into restart and let it sit for 3 minutes or so to discharge all the capacitors and so forth. Then I powered up and presto! The boot sequence took off OK, and it's now 59% through the post-reboot "Working on Updates." Before, I got an error message with a very low error code like 0X0.....05 or something like that and the machine would roll back to 15025 on the next restart attempt.

Try the complete power-down when the restart happens, as I did, if you find yourself in a similar situation.

    HTH,
