Just a s.w.a.g. , but this may have something to do with it. Windows let's some apps run in the background, kinda idling. After a while of non-use they can be suspended. Meaning some of the memory used is written out to the swapfile.sys. Part of the total Windows memory management thing. To me, that's kinda like putting the process in a mini-coma. Not quite sleep, but close, and people are still reporting problems with sleep. When you tickle the app awake, it may not want to totally get up! You can turn on/off which apps can run in the background here. I have it off. Might be worth a try.

A bit trivial thing I noticed, I do not know if it's because skin mods admin @z3r010 has done lately, a possible forum software update or something Microsoft has fixed in Edge in 15031 but I do not get those extra asterisks anymore in my posts.

For an Edge fan like me it's good news

I think it's more likely that MSFT have fixed it.

Thanks! I changed the setting for Edge to off. I'll let it sit idle for awhile and see what happens.

I noticed that too. Without the random asterisk I have been using Edge as my main browser on this build. I still prefer Pale Moon but as a Insider I want to help MS to work out the bugs in Edge.

Its the Insider Preview, for goodness sake, those of my friends who may use it, don't require a recommendation, and the others would not thank me for recommending a potentially unreliable OS. The standard W10 is best for them.
I turned off notifications about a year ago, IIRC...much better... Highly recommended...! Every build upgrade since I initially set the option to off has carried the setting forward to next.
