Interesting. Since 15002 I have stopped turning off fast startup on my main machine, and it had no issues getting builds via UUP.

I'll try that in one of the VMs.

I have seen something like this when I did a clean install but logged into my MS account during the install. That damn SYNC screwed up a lot of stuff, so I went back and did it again without the MS account login until AFTER I had the system up and running.

could you publish that reg file?

    - I did ask the Insider Team at Microsoft during the BEAM broadcast, whether this would be an advantage for insiders
    - unfortunately it was rather late in the meeting, so I didn't get a specific reply..

    - on the face of it, it seems to be the best option, as the "snapshot" created by the Fast-boot sequence
    - may have become "glitchy" during initial set-up, so saving it as the basis for the next Fast-boot
    - would appear to mean that the same "glitches" are loaded on the next boot sequence..

    - just a thought.. (??)

I can see why it would create problems, since the programs running at the time of the hiberfile snapshot would be different versions from those after update. I would think that update would either flush the Hiberfile, or turn off fast start. After all, for no good reason, each upgrade resets the BCD boot menu for multiboot systems to Windows 10 on volume 6 or whatever.

031 and 025 both seem to load normally til the end when I get the announcment "taking longer than expected, we are going as fast as we can". this lasts for quite a while then the screen goes black. The mouse cursor works and I can shut down normally.
No way to get past this that I can find so far.
    Any help will be appreciated.
