Been off my comp for a while but came back to a lock screen so thought something had happened!

Indeed, it had - new update all done. No idea how long it took as it was on auto pilot!

Interesting that the first login didn't go through a setup phase. Just straight to desktop.

    Lookin' good so far.

Used to get stuck with a few sound drivers in windows.old after disk cleanup but with the last 2-3 builds, windows.old goes completely.

No biggie, but clears one silly little quirk.

Finally got the build installed onto my desktop! It took only 26 minutes on my 3rd and last attempt to completely download the build and after that it took 53 minutes to install the build on my desktop (VMWare on a spinning HDD).

On my laptop, having an SSD, it took 54 minutes to completely download the build. Haven't yet installed the build. Will update this post when I have installed the build. So some pains to download the build on my desktop virtualization, but on my laptop, the download the process went smoothly.
I always create an iso from my host pc install and use that to upgrade my vms ie only download once and much quicker upgrading vms as a result.

I have moved Documents, Downloads, Music, Pictures Videos to D:\

Download won't download to those folders, I have to download to Users folder.

Smooth or even working UUP means it was already fixed in 15025. Last full MR backup I have is 15019 so I'll stuff it in a VM and see what would happen.

MS could have done some changes on the server side too...

The UUP has been fixed, not the prior version to be upgraded from - I have upgraded a 15014 x64 that was resistant to 15019 and 15025 UUPs and in both cases the UUPtoISO process failed. Not so with the 15031 UUP - the download, install and upgrade as well as UUPtoISO were quick and complete and working. As time permits, I have 2 15002 installations to upgrade.

Well, they could have fixed something on their side but to be fixed on user side new build would have to be installed first. In any case if it works as it's supposed to and I can still make an ISO, happy camper. I'll leave UUP on for the next one.

Action center appears to be busted. Done all the tricks. Including clean install. Works once, maybe, then nothing. Tiles go nowhere. Had to pin Settings to taskbar.
Funny, this time I have other minor issues but Action Center and notifications which did not work for me in two last builds is now working perfectly.

Same here. I only download one upgrade per edition and language, other machines with same edition and language being set for slow ring to be sure they don't start downloading upgrade, then upgrade them with ISO.
