Give it some time. Sometimes one of these upgrades can take upwards of an hour to complete depending on your hardware.
I did give it 1.5 hours. I just held the power button until it shut down. When it restarted it restored 10159. I may give it another try but I will connect it by wired Ethernet instead of Wi-Fi.

Well I am having no better luck after reverting to build 10130 still no update to 10162 after all other updates installed. Looks like I may have to try the non-official method.
Sometimes you just have to be patient. When you jump around going here and reverting there, I don't think that helps matters - just gets things more confused and twisted up. I have found that if I just wait, it works itself out. We just got 59 yesterday! Let it simmer down, and the upgrade will come.

I'm sorry to hear that you are not having any luck. Go back and visit this page.
Download Windows 10 Build 10162 ISO

But only use the first 2 links that have the (Mega) brackets beside them. Use the 1st one if you want a x64 copy. Open the page and download via Google Chrome, its the easiest way. You won't get any pop-ups or viruses, I promise. IE is very unsafe to be using. It should download super fast. Few users (including myself) have reported that using the (Mega) link works just fine.

Did you get the update? I just downloaded mine. Doesn't matter. Now it's a one step upgrade instead of 2-step (online upgrade then clean install with ESD).

I absolutely agree with you - be patient and stop all the nonsense of downloading from potentially infectious sites.

Always, always, always do wired connection when doing online upgrades. It's faster and more stable.

10162 is downloading again. Strange thing happened after the recovery to 10159. Windows defender detected malware and took action. I did unplug two devices, a tablet and a usb wi-fi adapter. Maybe those were the devices causing the problem.

No, I didn't get the upgrade. I just did a clean install from the ISO via MEGA

Looks like I will take the advice of others and be patient as I have no intention of creating a Mega account and the browser extension will not DL anything over 1 GB.
