Does anyone know how to get my DVD drive to play Blue Ray? Regular DVD videos will play, just not Blue Ray.

If it is just a DVD drive, it won't play BlueRay disks.

Thanks anyway.

I've never used my computer to play movies on, but I got one of my movies to test with and it had Blue Ray with it. So I tried it and it wouldn't play. Now I know why.

Yeah, most external drives now come as USB 3 and this computer has USB 3. I don't even know why I mentioned that, but if it helped ya, I'm glad I did.

My PC is going on 5 years old and it only has USB 2.

Agreed. Programs are used on computers. They are installed in C:\Program Files. Or C:\Program Files (x86).
Programs consist of an executable and support libraries.
Apps are self contained are found with 10,000 s of other worthless apps in the Windows app Store. There is nothing in the Windows app store that interest me full stop. In fact it will be uninstalled on my machines as a matter of course.
