I*have had no particular problems using Google within Edge.
Has anyone had trouble shutting down their computer with this build? My computer keeps restarting. Now I have to hit the power button in between the shutdown restart sequence.
- I have switched off the fast-boot here..
-*though it obviously takes a*bit longer to boot to Win10, it seems more stable..
I turned powercfg back on trying to fix the problem I'm having with sleep. When I get home I'll turn it off and try again. Fast Start is turned off. It's one of the first things I do with every new build.
Do you have Intel system? By default (after each clean install and every build upgrade) this laptop I am using at the moment restarts when I select Shut down, and shuts down when I select Restart if computer is allowed to turn Intel Management Engine Interface off in device properties.
Unchecking this option, not allowing it corrects this, Shut down and Restart working again normally.
Not saying this is your issue, just worth to check.
EDIT: Forgot to mention that (at least in my case) Fast Boot must be disabled in UEFI settings in addition of above trick to allow normal Shut down and Restart.
On another topic: My insomnia being very difficult at the moment, if I feel I could get some sleep I do not watch the time. A few hours ago at 4 PM I went to bed, managed to sleep two hours (first sleep in over 33 hours, since early yesterday morning). Put computer to sleep when going to bed, woke it up two hours later and this started immediately: Whenever I try to open File Explorer, I will get this and Explorer.exe will restart:
It repeats itself as long as I keep File Explorer open, restarting Explorer.exe time after time, making File Explorer useless. Restart fixed it.
This has happened two times before since installing 15025, always after a long sleep.
