Finally got around to my last VM. UUP off. Download to desktop 48 minutes, but that's on a spinner and it's a VM, so. Grabbed the install.esd before restart even though I didn't really need it. It was there, as usual, so just keeping up habits that work.

    Cheers!

I was a bit overoptimistic about my VMs upgrading to 15025 easily but have found a pretty sure fire to do it.

    1) Disable UUP be changing the registry value of EnableUUPScan and SupportsUUP to "0"

This does not work to get the ESD (because I believe that method is history) but does seem to force a download of all the code needed to upgrade to 15025. The registry values are reset to "1" after the upgrade. Thanks to Karl for the hacks. He did indicate that he didn't know how long MS would support ESD distribution. I don't always want to do fresh installs of a build after I've customized an installation but am glad that MS seems more forthcoming in realeasing ISOs to Insiders in a timely manner

Marty, I'm gonna be kind of harsh here, but I think it needs to be said:

By telling everyone that Install.ESD is no longer available when it's been proven time after time (through Kari's instructions) that it is available, you're doing a disservice to those who aren't as savvy as the majority here. It's OK to say, "I can't get Install.ESD," but it's not OK to say it's not available. Because it is!

I know, because I followed Kari's instructions and got the Install.ESD.

It's been a long time, but I'm upgrading my 32-bit 15019 laptop from a locally mounted downloaded ISO across my network to 15025. I checked the tutorials just to make sure I'm doing it right, I was so rusty. I wonder if it will look like a Windows Update upgrade or like in essenbe's video?

It's like a Windows update upgrade. I did it on Friday.

Thanks for the update. I'll download this just to make sure I have the correct copy of the ISO.
