I begin to see problems - Note that the taskbar seems to have 8 active program groups, including good old MSPaint, but look at taskview - just 2 open apps, not a paintbrush amongst them:
I've seen taskbar issues too. Some icons seem half-obscured by a grey box and some don't appear when they should.

I just grabbed the ISO, so I might try a clean install.

I'm flummoxed, because it wasn't happening right after installation.
Wynona, I got the one time. Did a cold shutdown and let the caps drain (i.e. - let it sit for a minute), powered back up and never saw it again.

You could yank the battery, or for desktop, push and hold power button several times with it unplugged....but probably not necessary.

Well I had to revert back to an earlier build 15014 because 15019 got messed up trying to update to 15025 this messed me up on my limited data from Hughesnet because it kept on trying to initialize since yesterday morning. Im not a happy camper since this ate up over 8 gig of my 20 gig allotment for the month. Needless to say Ive disabled my fast lane updates until march will be out of data soon now.

Working on updating 3 VMs. 1 VirtualBox 1 VMware on Remote Server and 1 Hyper-V VM on this machine. I'm pretty confident that all will update given time a few resets and retries etc etc. I'd be interested if anybody has succeeded getting a ESD file out of this build. I suspect that UUP is enshrined since when I deleted the temporary installation file before trying on this physical they amounted to ~ 3.14 GB which as I recall is pretty much the size of Windows 10 ESD files. I really would be nice if Brink could share the status of the ESD (disable UUP) update mode. Isn't this an invitation to damaged ISO being released to the wild??

Marty, I sure did. Set UUP off before I did Check for Updates. AND grabbed the install.esd before clicking restart.

I must be in his ignore list, considering how countless times he has asked the same or said there's no ESD and how countless times I have told yes there is.

OK. Here's what happened after the upgrade to build 15025

    1) NO install.esd. I use the Everything program and service to search.
    2) SupportUUP and EnableUUPScan have both been reset to enabled "1".
I am feeling a bit stupid repeating this time after time, thread after thread: the install.esd file is there if ESD is enabled / UUP disabled but you have to copy it to a safe location before you start the upgrade. We all know it will no longer be there after the upgrade, which has also been told repeatedly.
