I've just added this warning to UUP to ISO tutorial. Let's see what the next build or two brings to use, if the method died only after a few new builds or not:
After all the trouble trying to get this build I am now prepared for future builds. I have the Reg file on my desktop and very easily accessible. I like the idea of the UUP but until it gets improved it's not worth the trouble to try to use it.

I noticed that my advanced download options had been changed to accept downloads from anywhere; I turned this option off and will see if that makes a difference.
It did! In about 1 minute downloading had completed! don't know why ms has to change setting options to include downloads from any computer on any network.

Yeh, it was (is) a great tutorial for me upgrading to 15025. Thanks!
I simply gave up now. I had no issues in getting UUP upgrade downloaded. I started experimenting with how to make ISO just after 9 PM my time, I thought I need to be sure it works before posting a note about it in tutorial thread.

It's now 5:20 AM, that note is still not posted and will not be posted at least until we'll see the next build. I just give up.

After enabling ESD on my laptop, WU shows that there are no new updates to install! Really!??!?

    Patience

I'm not really very patient, but since I had other things to do, I just let "let 'er roll" for a couple of hours (the little blue dots of activation or whatever they signify ) :) Problem solved - I'm now up and running very well. Edge popped up at the start with an impressive summary of current events.

They do not get the bugs fixed by doing nothing to fix it.
    1) They have had UUP out for what, a total of 2 months max?

    2) This is Microsoft - they don't fix things overnight.

They haven't even tried to fix it. If they want to wait to fix UUP they should go back to the ESD for awhile. They haven't even fixed Edge from inserting random asterisks. I don't mind testing to find bugs. That's what the Insider program is for. IMHO they need to stop worrying about adding new features until they fix some of the known bugs.

That last statement I can completely agree with. The going back to ESD one I can only hope for, but this *is* Microsoft we're talking about - not gonna happen.

Well said, but maybe we should we wait and see if the next build fixes these problems first? Dona did mention in her tweet that this build is the last one for new features and the first for the Bug Bash and that consequent builds will be focused on refining the Creator's Update until most of the known bugs are squashed. I could be wrong, but I am sure that Dona did mention something to this degree about this build somewhere if not the tweet.

She did. It is in the first page of this thread, too.
