Looks like they updated the known issues:
Said the same bug was in the last build--but didn't see it, fortunately. Hopefully it's fixed much better than UUP...

No word on whether the font-size adjustment is back in, though...have a feeling it is not. Not sure how they could drop something that critical to the GUI without a single comment...we'll see...!

UUP just ain't no good, for most people. Dona says to wait. Well, Dona isn't the one doing the waiting. That's why I turn the stupid thing off. You can set it off right now, in the middle of the initializing and reboot. It'll come back saying Opps! I'm sick, Retry. Click retry and it'll start downloading the ESD flavor. I've done it that way a number of times. Not real graceful, but it worked. At least here......
I wonder if they have have even tried the UUP. They want people to try it and when it's reported that it's screwed up they completely ignoring the reports and keep using it.

That bug bit me hard last build. All the games that wouldn't launch last build are working in this build though, thankfully.

With an SSD, once the upgrade has begun (after the download has finished) this is about right! Takes me about the same amount of time--and I do an upgrade install...It's been so long since I did a clean install I cannot recall the last one...and the upgrades are working--even if I have to occasionally create an iso and upgrade from there....

I was never able to get UUP install to work at all on either of my test machines. The registry hack, once applied, turned it off and then I was able to successfully install the latest build. Once I got the reconfig done, my MSI Z87 did the download in under 10 minutes, but it took another half hour to work through all the processing before and after restart. What a trip!
As others have already said: "Sure hope it's worth it!"

{Note added morning of 2/2/17: After letting the Dell Venue Pro 11 run on the non-UUP install for another two hours, while we went out for dinner last night, I came back to find it still initializing anyway. I turned to a Microsoft source for the ESD file listed on WinAero.com at Download Windows 10 Build 15025 ISO images - Winaero, and used the ESD decrypter to create an ISO. It wouldn't right-click to mount, so I turned to the ISO and IMG Mount tutorial here at TenForums to use PowerShell to mount it that way instead. Continuing on, the upgrade install proceeded without further difficulty, though it did still take another hour (!) to make it all the way through the process. I find myself agreeing with others here who've observed that, if UUP is not broken, it's way too slow for prime-time use. MS will have to fix this before they can let the Creator's Update go into public release, that's for sure!]
