Thanks for the heads up Brink. As said before I want to do a clean install for build 15025 in a new VM, to check if the UUP issue is related to the upgrade sequence of previous builds.
32 bit & 64 bit DL!
and running the security scan, Hopi bon!
done!
Because I wanted to try the download in Edge, now copying the ISO's to my Mac
Ready to rumble and install in VMware!
Cheers
Did anyone read the second sentence of post 532?
After having no really good times with the UUP update(s), I really needed to share something with you all for laughs. Nearly wet my pants from laughing, when installing the IP-15025 from ISO the Dutch Cortana (male voice) kicked in. I couldn't resist, to immediately recalling all those English interviews given by Louis van Gaal (Dutch National Team) to the international press .
I had so much fun for ~25 minutes and still do!
Cheers
I let the W10IP VM run overnight (~8 hours).
When I checked it in the morning, it was waiting for me to log in (to complete the final stage of the upgrade).
There was one improvement compared to the previous UUP upgrade.
It only downloaded ~1.3 GB (instead of ~4.2 GB) so it looks like one part of UUP worked as promised. :)
The Feedback tool asked me about the upgrade.
This was my submission:
The UUP system takes ridiculous amounts of time.
The W10IP b15014 upgrade took ~7 hours.
It downloaded ~ 4.2 GB of data.
The b15025 took even longer.
1st attempt:
After ~7 hours, this upgrade hadn't even started, so I gave up.
2nd attempt:
Completed after I let W10IP run overnight.
One improvement this time was that it only downloaded ~1.3 GB.
