Maybe his ISO has install.esd instead of install.wim and the boot.wim/boot.esd is missing? That could explain the big size difference.
Yes, my ESDtoISO generated ISO has install.esd 2,785,548 KB.

I copied the install.esd from my Windows 10 Pro Oracle VM to my Desktop ESDtoISO folder.
Opened a Elevated Command Prompt, changed to the ESDtoISO folder and ran ESDtoISO.cmd.
I selected 2 - Create ISO with Compressed INSTALL.ESD since that was what I had. I think I am mis-reading it and instead of this specifying the input file, it means the file that will be put in the generated ISO.

I'm going to rerun it selecting 1 - Create ISO with Standard INSTALL.WIM. I think then I will get the same as the rest of you have.

Love this place. The information I get here is great. Something as simple and obvious as this yet I never thought about it. Now I understand.

Edit: Yup, new ISO is now the right size and includes install.wim.

    Got it!
Having read on the forum that Microsoft had issued an ISO for 15025, I downloaded and made a DVD.
Even after having set the optical drive to boot, Windows insisted on running from the ssd, so I upgraded from within Windows. I declined the offer to upgrade via the internet, kept my files, etc and now am the proud user of 15025.
    No sign of the asterisks.

Are you writing your messages using Edge browser? I ask because that is the only browser I have found so far that has this asterisk glitch.

    A couple of points:
Do people here clean out the old windows installation files before trying to update? Could that be an issue?

Someone about 50 posts ago asked about gaming. Gaming now works correctly but only if you turn off game mode in the gaming setup.

Don't have any games that would need help on this machine but I run benchmark Performance test with and without Game mode and without it score was 2999,7 and with it 3124.5.

Dont think its W.old causing it, mine still took 7hrs, allways clear mine within a couple hours, however i did find a log of ALL the installs.

Going back to TC i believe the 1 "error" found is actually correct as it relates to the known flight bug, in regard to message shown in the WU GUI.

    No games on it either

I spoke too soon regarding the asterisks, one turned up in a post I made on another unrelated forum. And yes I do use the Edge browser.
As I don't rely on the TP, I always get rid of the Windows old and all related files as soon as I run a new build.
