i have very slow internet, no more than 800KB / sec but just left it alone, and upon pressing restart now, took less than 30 minutes and about 3 resets.

PS. been playing ETS2 with heaps of mods and it runs nice.

Tried to download the file from the Winaero site to make an ESD file to create and ISO but the decrypter file doesn't recognize the file to convert it to ESD.

Did you shut down your computer after using the Windows Update Troubleshooter?*then restarted before trying to update.

Tried it all, but then decided to go back to my last checkpoint, and it eventually started downloading, it's been at the 99% point for about 10 to 15 minutes, but that is 99% further, then before:)

    Hyper-V users please notice:

Because this happened on two Hyper-V hosts (physical machines) of mine exactly the same way I thought it might also happen to other users, hence I thought it would be good to tip other Hyper-V users:

If your Hyper-V virtual machines have lost network and Internet connection after upgrade to build 15019, check the Virtual Switch Manager. In my case two separate physical Hyper-V hosts did exactly the same thing, they both had changed the WLAN external switch type to Private, and LAN external switch type to Internal (yellow highlight in screenshot below).

No worries, just change external switch type back to External network in Virtual Switch Manager (green in screenshot):

This applies to upgrade only. In clean install of 15019 as you have to create external switches from scratch, they will be correctly configured.
