BF1 opens but goes immediately to the taskbar. Will not stay full screen or windowed. Everything in the game mode options lists has been turned off to no avail.
UPDATE: GO TO EDIT at the end of the post for an update:

I found a fix/temp workaround for BF1 and maybe for other games with the same problem (game opens but goes immediately to the taskbar) , KEEPING Game Bar and Game Mode ON (btw I have to say Game Mode seems to be a big deal, never experienced such a smooth gameplay (I dont have a top-end rig), today Ill do other tests to be 100% sure its not placebo)

    Btw:
-Right click on the desktop link of the game -> Proprieties . On "Execute" select "minimized" (I dont know the english translation but its the 2nd option, the one in the middle between "normal window" and "fullscreen". )
-Open the game. It will starts in a resized screen, but if you click into it it will go fullscreen and will work as usual.

NOTE: If you exit the game (alt+tab), you cant open it again because the same problem will appear... but at least its a temp workaround

Tell me if it works, yesterday I tried also other things (like clearing BF1 cache, etc) but I dont think its related

I will post it on FH, maybe can be useful to developers to fix it in future builds..

    ---

EDIT: It seems game bar works when it wants, now I cant open it with game bar enabled because the same old problem appear. Btw if you keep ONLY Game Mode ON (TURN OFF GM NOTIFICATION), and turn off Game Bar, it still works fine. You have those settings in the new Game section in system Settings. Dont forget to reboot after every change in*the settings

took about 2 hrs to download and install last night so i thought as going to bed i would click on update and shutdown but it didn't update it just shutdown tried again and still no update.
switched on this morn clicked on setting and update then restart and is now loaded
the recycle bin had disappeared and windows was running very slow . moving the synaptic touchpad pointer closed things down or stopped music playing so installed tver 19 again and did restart
the recycle bin turned up in middle of screen and pointer now working
    windows running faster now

Same for me as last few posted. No update offered yesterday. Today it was all set in half an hour.

    Some minor bugs for now.*
-Action center doesn't give focus to app when clicked on item (may be inherited from previous build)
-in Windows defender (security) home, when clicked on App and browser control it crashes

    Still....
Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15019 for PC-image.pngAfter over 60 minutes, 3 coffees, 1 shower, two slices of toast, half a dozen cigarettes....
And this is my second try at it

Since they started their new UUP upgrade system, it takes a loooooong time to get these updates.
They need to learn to leave well enough alone, and stop thinking and brain storming too much.

I've given up on UUP for the present. I don't even try any more.

I just let it go in the background until I shut down, if it doesn't do anything until then, screw it, it will only be the second upgrade, that will either be late(r), or not at all for me. That's pretty darn good, compared to others here in the forums, and not bad for (can't call them beta builds, too buggy) chi builds

I just started the following batch file to see what happens, while it "Initializes Updates":
    Dism /online /Cleanup-Image /StartComponentCleanup & sfc/scannow & Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth & sfc/scannow & pause
