Just to make your frustration even clearer, I had the same issue: stuck with default settings (UUP enabled) and after 3 hours+ of waiting at "Initializing updates or whatever", I got fed up and enabled ESD through the registry changes mentioned above. Now, after just waiting 46 minutes, my VM is ready to restart to install the latest build! Huh!

yes exactly whats been happening to me, and not just this build to be honest ever since UUP came out i have never had a build downloaded straight ahead without restarting or resetting update services or stucking at 0% for hours and hours but i already run on a low internet speed which takes quite sometime to download a build and with UUP now it's double the time it used to be, so i'll just stick to ESD method till the UUP service is straightened out

    Build15019

15019 downloaded and installed with no problems. I had run the UUP off reg hack this morning but after the installation there was no install.esd file...Oh well. With this build Feedback Hub is working fine and WU Insider is still set to Fast.

The Game Mode makes World of Warcraft not work. Careful using it.
EDIT: Nevermind, like another user, I had forgotten to shutdown and reboot after turning off Game Mode settings. Works fine now.

Install.esd file will disappear when upgrade is installed. That's why you need to copy it to a safe location BEFORE clicking Restart now to start the upgrade install.

Best upgrade yet. I rated it a 5. Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15019 for PC-build-15019.png

In order to test the new installation setup changes I have 2 choices. I can backup the physical partition and do a full reset or (much better) convert the physical machine to a VM using VMware Converter and do a fresh install with that VM. Naturally, I will do the later but will backup the image using AOEMI Badkupper Pro and then do a disk cleanup
