At the Desktop Shortcuts Store. (Joking !!!)
I've got plenty more shortcuts, if you need em... There are a lot of 'em! I've got still more of them nested inside desktop folders, believe it or not! Nah, all of the shortcuts on the right are involved in a project I'm working on...the ones on the left are, more or less, the permanent group of shortcuts...I've been partial to this kind of desktop since my first Amiga in 1986/7. Old habits carried forward, I'm afraid. I'm strictly a no-Metro kind a' guy....far too much dead space for me--which is only useful for touch screens, which I also eschew (along with laptops)...

That is a nice background. Do you still have the link?

Go to Personalize/Themes/Get more Themes from the store. From there you can pick and choose out of thousands of gorgeous images. You can also download as many as you like to keep on hand when you want to change things. Also, as larc919 mentioned, you can find a treasure trove of Themes via Bing/Google.

I tried to make a desktop out of 80 column cards, but all the graphic artists were busy.....

Think of the card reader as a Music Box for code.

Data too. On the first computer I worked on, an IBM 360, both our customer file and our product file were on card decks.
