I updated from the Microsoft Catalog and had no problems. :)
I Installed KB3216755.msu manually immediately after the clean install and before enabling WU. The result is same has previous one (. 693): Update packages were installed from WU in less than 10 minutes. The standalone installer method represents a gain of almost 2.5 hours over the enigmatic WU. No doubt in my mind now, the key is in the catalog.

PS: This KB file was available to public a few hours after it came out
Edit: I also installed AMD Software app before enabling WU and that would explain why Audio package failed. Second screenshot shows the last update I just made.
