To remove redundant files left behind on your C: drive you can use MS Disk Clean Up followed by System clean up. It
may not reclaim 1.7 Gb as there may be new files added.

.Cab update will not show up in Update History but will be listed in the Uninstall Updates list.

    Cheers,
Thanks. For me it is not showing in uninstall updates list also. Fig attached

The reason is buried inside here & it was updated yesterday.
    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...date-kb3216755

Applications/callers that load KB 3216755 versions of the System.data.dll libraries may experience memory leaks. In extreme cases, such leaks can cause service or application crashes. The rate of the leak increases with the number of SQL queries issued by the calling app.

This issue will be addressed in a future release.

Looks like MS is holding off this update until March Patch Tuesday and my guess it will be a newer update.

They did release a Flash update today.

Microsoft issues some Windows security patches in February after all

Good I don't mind waiting. I never care about updates anyway. For over 20 years of using windows I never got hit with a virus and I even back in the day use to download cracked versions of expensive software back when there was no free open source alternatives. BTW I don't do that anymore.

Lol. TMI. What does that have to do with anything anyway?

Has anyone on 14393.xxx Fast Ring seen 15046 or 15048 from Windows Update? Or is it because 14393.xxx is not UUP capable? My thinking is that since both 15046 and 15048 were released as full esd updates in addition to UPP maybe 14393.xxx might have a chance. In he past I was usually switched within 24 hours, but so far I have not seen anything.

If you are on version 14393 then you are on the Release Preview Ring or not on the Insider Ring at all. Not quite sure I understand your question ?

Ah there is an option you failed mention. I was on the Release Preview ring and yesterday I switched to the Fast Ring. So now I am on the Fast Ring using build 14393.726. I was hoping to see Windows Update download and install 15048. I know it can take some time to switch but am I waiting for something that is never going to happen? In the past I was usually switched within 24 hours, but so far I have not seen anything.
