    @Kari - me too!

    I also have made an Iso, and can't wait for Windows Setup and the sluggish WinPE, so I am applying the Install.wim image index 1 with Imagex to an new volume I just made, and have written the boot files with BCDBoot, so a quick reboot into the OOBE, not forgetting to disconnect the network so I can set up a local account, and off I go...

    Updated, Installed checked drivers checked to see if cold boot issue was still there.. it is.. turned off fast boot gets rid of it now to check to see if any thin else is snafu'd and go from there. :)

    Workaround for local account if you are running PRO (extract from an earlier post in 15007 thread):

    OK geeks, how many of you are willing to admit that you are just like me (though mostly younger...) when these new builds are released: it's like being a kid again, full of enthusiasm and no patience, constantly checking WU progress bar and current download speed and whatnot, only waiting to get to install and start playing :)
    Don't know about the younger part past the half century mark already here but I hear ya

    Clean install. Opening Settings then Update and Security, Settings closes.

    EDIT: Reboot, problem solved.

    Beddy byes now, O Great Ones.

    I never got the last build. Turned out I had been moved back to the slow ring somehow. Switched to Fast and got 15014 immediately:Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15014 for PC and Mobile-15014download.jpg

    Quote from ESD to ISO tutorial thread:

    Note   Note

    PLEASE NOTICE:

    The tool and the method in this tutorial both work without issues with ESD file of the latest Insider Build 15014 released earlier today.

    Those receiving UUP upgrade instead of ESD, see UUP to ISO tutorial: UUP to ISO - Create Bootable ISO from Windows 10 Build Upgrade Files
