Nahhhhhhhhhhh . . . but guess what!? I just got my Windows 10 flash drive built and was going to put a clean install of Build 10149 10159 onto Lappy 7, but decided to take one more look at Task Manager>Services>wauserv and wonder of wonders, it's running!

So I back outta there and go for Windows Update. Build 10159 showed up and has downloaded. She's now 25% into Preparing to Install Updates! If that finishes, I'm three for three after a long hard couple of days! Still, I will want to do a clean install after checking things out a bit.

Hmmm, I may have to just do a clean install on the last Laptop (much older 17"). Gotta do something different!
I tried out 10159 and had an issue with the audio. But on Friday I'll get some more DVD's and do a clean install just for kicks. Then some time next week I'll go back to WIn8.1 and upgrade to the GA on the 29th. The testing of these new builds has been fun.

I did a clean install of Build 10158 on my spare SSD and then did an upgrade of 10158 over my W7 installation well. Both installs went very smoothly and all the older programs from W7 seem to be working flawlessly. This gives me hope that when the RTM is available it may prove to be a good experience. Fingers crossed. I was also wondering if there are any benefits to installing 10159. 10158 is working so well that I hate to spoil a good thing!!

The blog I read said there are 300 bug fixes in Build 10159, so I went for it. :)

Just wanted to let you know and thank you for your expertise, effort and work on the tutorials. Made an ISO of 10159 successfully with your new script. I used to think I was a bit of a geek but, man, you take the cake!

Your computer gonna miss us! :)

I had issues with graphics again on Build 10130. I watched a news story awhile ago, and those issues might be fixed. I sure hope so.

Oh.. It will not be for long. I just like the idea of moving from Win8.1 to WIn10.. I really don't need the Win8.1 license anymore.

Not long.. unless it's 100% certain that we can go from the Preview to the GA then I don't need to reinstall WIn8.1. My understanding is that you can't do that.
