    I find Chrome loads faster on older machines, but misses a feature that Firefox has. I like downloading pictures for backgrounds. Firefox let's me "save as background", to see if I like it, without having to download it first. ...secondly, Chrome can't be told to automatically go to new tab. Two beefs of mine...

    won't stay number one if they insist on removing features. i noticed this morning there is no rightclick and email nor is there anything in the settings to email a link. i just recently rebuilt both chrome and cyberfox up from scratch, and at this point i like them equally.
    Right click works for me in the latest version of Chrome.

    To send an email link add a page in the bookmarks bar with the following content:

    javascript:location.href='mailto:?SUBJECT='+document.title+'&BODY='+escape(location.href);

    See How to Add a “Send Link” Button to the Bookmarks Bar in Chrome | Interactive Logic

    I've stuck with Firefox for years, and I never liked Chrome.
    But Firefox performance is waning and it hiccups too often.
    So I may soon switch to Chrome. Not because Chrome is getting better than Firefox, but because Firefox is getting worse.

    Actually people, Opera is really pretty good. Just the browser, not that full suite called Neon.

    I had to quit using chrome because of pepper flash, and constant stalling of web videos. It was just way to annoying to cope with.

    That never would stick. It would inevitably just get reenabled the next time chrome would update, which was very frequently. I got tired of it, so I quit.

    Windows 10: Microsoft is spamming Chrome users with pop-up adverts

    ...The firm is once again setting its sights on Google Chrome users, with a new pop-up advertisement pestering users of the browser to install its Shopping Assistant add-on.
    As spotted by Myce, when the browser is pinned to the taskbar, a notification above the Chrome icon begs: "Quickly compare prices online. Get Microsoft's Personal Shopping Assistant for Chrome."
    The add-on itself has been around for about a year, but a recent update is said to have triggered the spam.
