Thanks. My point is that I can live with*driver download. This is the first build not starting, so far I haven't had that problem, only wrong resolution. Now*the screen is blank, nothing, black. That is the thing bothering me.

It's likely updating driver with a faulty one. If you stop installation of updated one than you should stop driver updates so you can keep older but better working one.

Oh, crap, Edwin! What's happening? I have to boot twice before I can get to Windows.

Don't know! I can get into AU alright but it won't go to IP on the other disk. Happened all of a sudden.

Well*finally found a work around for the settings bar freezing in Edge. For anyone else with this*issue try the following as it has worked for me and settings tab is back.

Deleting the "PersistedSpatialAnchors" folder in C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Spectrum

That was maddening for me to have no access to settings. Like a miracle finally happened :)

Fast startup and hibernation turned off? Try running chkdsk and check Event viewer for ntfs errors.

This workaround is mentioned in release news (first page), although it is mentioned in relation with audio issues.

I saw that but with it mentioning for audio I did not have a clue that it would work for the settings freeze. Actually been watching the feedback hub and finally saw the post where it works for my issue.

Thanks for your post in relation to the fix. Is why I use this site as my go to as people here really do try to help :)
