By the looks of it, he would be still dreaming.

How are you creating the shortcut/s? I find it works best for me to click the little icon at the left end of the URL/Address Bar and drag it either to the Favorites/Bookmarks toolbar or to the Desktop.
As I’ve always done, right click create shortcut on internet explorer and then open them with Firefox
Just tries your way with the little icon on Firefox and I still get the same error message
And yet if I drag the icon on to the address bar, no problems

I'm using Fences. I'm not seeing the lag that you're describing. Does the lag go away if you disable Fences?
No I didn't want to disable it and lose my "fences" :) Others have reported similar issues here: Fences breaks on insider build 15002 on 3 of 4 machines >> Forum Post by davidrsullivan

Well, I have been forced to dump Edge, I have moved my favourites/bookmarks to Firefox.
Maybe the next build will allow me to return to Edge.

Ah, maybe I'm not seeing the issue because I don't have any folder portals. Seems like that may be what causes it, at least according to one post at that link.

My ISP, BT (British Telecom) has now stated that it implements IPV6 since last Autumn (Fall), but the HomeHub 3 I have, does not work properly with it (features not available) and I should be in line to be upgraded soon. One of my other routers does not work with IPv6 either, so I need to totally disable IPv6 on my LAN to stop the erratic behaviour.

Anyone else with a similar experience?
I also have a Homehub 3. But it does seem to download for me.
I have been running in a Virtualbox VM, and I had problems which seemed to be resolved when I changed a setting in VirtualBox from the default value to a Legacy value.

Initially I could get to the point where it downloaded the update, seemingly with no problems, but it would hang when it tried to Restart at the start of the install process. This seems to be the problem caused by Virtualbox.

While I was trying to get it to work, I took copies of the files needed for Kari's UUP to ISO tutorial, which had been downloaded by the upgrade process.

Once I figured out the Virtualbox setting, I could use the ISO created from the UUP files, and it installed OK. (Admittedly with network switched off for the VM when I installed.) I also think the original update process would have worked if it had not been for that Virtualbox setting.

So I think that that my HomeHub 3 let Windows download what it needed.

    5 ghz

wonderered when i was gonna lose it.(didnt have time to check in 15002).
The base driver for my lappy, came with 2.4/5ghz option, plus 5 or 6 other extra's.
Only got 4 now, not a happy bunny, cant use the 5ghz any more

Turned of driver enforcement, NOTHING changed still will not accept any change apart from current pre-installed (mediaTek) or Ralink previously used Foxconn on earlier builds.

Had a look in in net28r the additional options ARE thereso something's getting in the way

I clean installed 15002. Update picked up 15007 immediately. Downloading stayed at 100 % for about an hour. When I came back after dinner it was ready for restart. Took about 10 minutes to desktop .

Well so far the 15xxx series is a non starter for me, with the 0% update bug and after being able to install it I'm faced with a cold boot freeze, going through my start up files now in order to see what may be hanging it up but it's not looking good sfc /scannow is clean and all av was shut down, running through hardware startup drivers now but am close to rolling back.

    Hey all,

Seems have developed a new problem. Full clean install from 15002 then upgrade through WU to 15007. Things went pretty good doing it that way over all. Only issue is the hack failed to create an esd for 15007. Keeps disappearing in one of the lines.*
Gave up trying to get it to work. For two days all was great but now I no longer can click on settings button in Edge. It freezes the second*I click it and have to close the browser to get access back to any part of browser. Not sure why as it worked fine for a few days and this happened.
Any ideas on a fix I am not seeing? Been all over looking for a way to reset or clear error to no avail.
I keep hoping for an iso release to do a repair in place as last resort.
    Thanks for any ideas
