Andre, Cliff mentioned that back about a hundred posts ago. He had a good argument that errors and time consumption resulting from broken "other PC" packets can cause headaches. Wish I could find that post....Cliff, oh @Cliff S

Thanks for confirming that it wasn't a fluke or just some weird timing Andre
You know how you think you fixed something, by making a change, but it only happened to you in that one instance, so it was just timing, and not the change.

Sitting here trying to even get 15007 to show up as a download, nothing. Have UUP off. I skipped 15002 and am still running 14986.1001. I don't think that has any thing to do with a non notification. As a side question have these "GLOB" files hanging in my C: not sure where they came from. Tx...
Desktop shortcuts containing the “%” character (usually URI shortcuts with escaped characters) will result in a cyclical explorer.exe crash. To resolve this, use Task Manager to open PowerShell, and edit the shortcut to not include a % in the path.
WTF?
And some people on this forum complain, when other people say they don't trust MS' data collection/handling skills or their intentions.

This is getting ridiculous. Been waiting 1 hour and 42 min and more, and I am still stuck at downloading 100%. Easily been stuck at this particular step for a good 1 hour, if not more! What should I do?
W10IP b150002 sat on 100% for ~90 minutes (even though it was actually still downloading).

15007 ran fine for almost a full day. I had to reboot and now all I can get is the loading circle, the funny part is I can log in and my desktop shortcuts are there they just can't be seen. I can click them and it will start my program but my screen never changes from a black screen with the loading circle.
Same error as usual for me. "The installation failed in the SAFE_OS phase with an error during INSTALL_RECOVERY_ENVIRONMENT operation".
Guess I'll just put my tablet on the slow ring and wait for the next build.
Been trying all day...no better luck than you, my friend...same/similar errors as you see...UUP on/off, WU or ISO, makes no difference...install craps out about the time the gpu drivers are loaded in the install procedure...~32% for me is when the spinning dots cease, system locks, and then shuts down into a power off. Like clockwork, I'm afraid.
Success at last! Reinstalled the last image backup of 14986, ran Advanced System Care Pro 10.1 to fix thousands of registry errors and disabled a few startup programs. Naturally making an image backup now. Obviously, there won't be a shortage of stuff to test!
