I did a fresh install of 14986 and then got the following

Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15007 for PC and Mobile-wu.png

I believe I will reinstall a 15002 and leave it at that for awhile. The updates to the 15xxx builds areis the most frustrating turn of events I've ever* experienced. Something is definitely wrong with MS approach. So its understandable that the Creator Edition RTM was pushed back two months (Feb to April).

Lot's of helpful code and hints from the community

Understand your frustration, believe me. Usually, if the Retry does not help, a reboot will. Try if you want.

Gave up on WU, and grabbed an ISO through the link published by Sergey Tkachenko at WinAero.com. Performing an in-place upgrade on my 15002 Enterprise test PC to 15007 right now. Sigh,

PS (Hours later): worked like a champ and I'm chunking away happily on both test machines. Lots of interesting new stuff to play with. Download/install/WU difficulties aside, seems like a pretty good release.

Unchecking option to deliver files to other PCs solved my*update problems. Updated fine after that.

Andre, Cliff mentioned that back about a hundred posts ago. He had a good argument that errors and time consumption resulting from broken "other PC" packets can cause headaches. Wish I could find that post....Cliff, oh @Cliff S

Yes TC, I'm aware of that. But this thread grows so quickly, one can't just say look 234 post back.. Cliff posted that, but I have had problems with it before (system change settings back)

Took me 1.5 days just to get a stable 15007 build. Wow. What an adventure! Phew! Hopefully all of these bugs are worked out by the time RTM CU is released....

We aren't supposed to give out this kind of information; that site/link isn't sanctioned by Microsoft and can get us in trouble with the admins.

With your permission (although I didn't ask...) I edited the info post, see screenshot:

    PLEASE NOTICE:

I have run some extensive tests with both ESD to ISO and UUP to ISO. Both methods and tools work perfectly with latest build 15007, and as I believe also in the future.

Both tutorials will get a facelift this weekend. They do not contain any factual errors but especially ESD to ISO was written some time ago and a lot has been changed since, it just needs to be rewritten. However, the method works as told now in tut, no worries.
