i might be wrong but the progress bar might be the problem, not the UUP, i do hate the UUP as well and hate not having a clean install whenever i want, but when mine was at 99% downloading suddenly it got to 30% at preparing to install, so just be patient i guess

If a restart does not kick-start it, totally shutdown power off. Wait a minute (or drain caps) and fire back up.

Installed and loaded on desktop-after more than two hours. On laptop, refuses to install and keeps reinstalling prior version without any message. It took the screen about 20 minutes to reboot and I found new version was not installed but no information about inability to install.

I finally got build 15007 installed and running. This time I unplugged my HDD so the boot loader wouldn't get corrupted. Everything is back together and both installs boot OK. now to play. :)

How long were you stuck at downloading 100%?I was at stuck at that step for like 1 hour+ and then gave up, restarted my computer and computer decides to redownload the update. I will try to install this build later tonight or tomorrow. 15002 didn't have this problem when I was downloading it, must be the buggy mess that is 15002. Ah well, IP after all!

15002 will not open Edge. It scatters my desktop icons.
15007 opens Edge but will not open this forum. Takes forever to open windows 7 forums.
15xxx series s**ks. Going back to 14986.

I'm not going to jump through a bunch of hoops to get this build to install. That's Microsoft's job.
