I have no problems what so ever on build 15007. 15002 was a disaster and took me a day to get the update to even start downloading. It was so darn unstable for me.

in 15007 does anyone else have all the start tiles showing up after every reboot? I unpin them or uninstall them all but they just won't die.

Exactly. This extract from beginning of tutorial:
Warning
Notice please: When Windows Update has finished downloading the UUP upgrade, the files needed to make the ISO are stored in subfolders of C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Downloads.
These files will be removed when upgrade is done. If you want to make an ISO for future needs, you have to do it before starting the upgrade process itself, after downloading the upgrade files but before clicking Restart now button!

The warning is there as part of my "better safe than sorry" policy. I'd rather not include something like "No worries if you forgot to make ISO, after upgrade files can still be found in Windows.old" in tutorial, then get replies like "Thanks for nothing! Can't find them anymore. It's your fault that I got no ISO!".

On a clean installation of build 15007 desktop icon settings are not to be found under themes. I found the settings by doing a search. Does anyone know if the link was eliminated or where it was moved?
Two ways to get there:
*Right-click Desktop/Personalize, and then in the search bar you have to type in "desktop icons" and you get the option
*Go to traditional Control Panel, select the Personalization cpl, then select "desktop icons" (upper left, tiny font)

15007 downloaded in about an hour and a half for me. No problems.

Both of Walt's work fine. Also, Shawn created a tutorial for adding Personalize Classic to the desktop context menu. It has that as a direct link, along with many other very useful links. Huge time saver.

Yes, something is definitely bugged in the desktop start menu tiles function of both 15xxx builds so far...see the last paragraph of my last *long* post for more tiles fun & games...!
