Triple Boot Windows 10 IP Build 17046/Windows Server 2016/Debian Sid

Did a full reset on Build 15002. Very interesting - I suggest others try this. The installation of Windows*changed significantly and for the better. * *One of the reasons I reset is that 2 programs did not work on my initial installation. Tweaking.com Repair Program caused a kernel fault and VirtualBox simply installed but won't run. So I'm going to stick with an all Windows testing (and obviously there is a lot there!!). Most importantly the Internet time sync bug appears to be fixed!! See the screen shot attached. Click image for larger version.

Interesting, I am going to try this now, even though it is just a report error, the time does get updated. Have you kept your programs or chose the other option, to delete everything?

    Thank you.

Looks like you used Edge to make this post. Is that correct? I can tell because of the random asterisks that appear on this post, something many people who have installed 15002 are complaining about.

That's exactly what my old (still working) setup is designed for. To handle multi-OS in removable drives.

Trying this now. Had to look in Windows.old to find the files or should I have checked before rebooting after update and install?

With my new computer I have the extra external bay so that's probably what I'll do. Then I can use the whole 2TB HDD for storage.

I think you have to do this before you restart. I checked my computer and those folders are empty. I'm going to try it when the next build is released.

Well this has been zero fun. I decided to clean install from 14986 since could not find an answer anywhere to task bar freezing on 15002. Without any access to start menu or settings I really had no choice.*
I got the clean install in with no problems and things were back to normal. Set up a few things to get update working and 15002 went in and task bar works. A few more updates and thought was past the nightmare until I decided to run one more update check.
Now I have the dreaded "some settings are controlled by your organization issue. And same with general settings and*Diagnostics & feedback . As we all know this also greys out any option I have to change those settings.
I have been all over internet for 2 days now trying every fix in the book for this issue. I have tried all I can find here in my favorite site for help also but to no avail.
If anyone has been through this recently and has any hope or help for me I would be in your debt forever. As I don't think a new clean install will help anything more than time waste.

Thanks for any assist offered in advance

Yes, correct. This from beginning of the tutorial:

    warning   Warning
Notice please: When Windows Update has finished downloading the UUP upgrade, the files needed to make the ISO are stored in subfolders of C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Downloads.

These files will be removed when upgrade is done. If you want to make an ISO for future needs, you have to do it before starting the upgrade process itself, after downloading the upgrade files but before clicking Restart now button!
