This will probably roll out to everybody via WU next week on Patch Tuesday, if not before.

Thanks for the heads-up, Brink: downloading to my Surface Pro 3 right now. Sat at 5% for some time, then started climbing toward completion. Proceeding more by "fits and starts" than usual... Perhaps I should've used WUMT instead. Now sitting at 10%... sudden jump to 45% ... jump to 90% ... sitting here for a looooong while ... finally jumped to 94% ... took 17-18 minutes for download to complete. Installing now.

Took 3 minutes to install, 6 minutes to get to restart; 9 more minutes to get back to a login prompt. Long update, for my i7/8GB RAM/256GB SSD SP3.

Hopefully they will wait until patch Tuesday. It always puzzles me when they release an update on say the Thursday or Friday before Patch Tuesday. Means the public gets two lengthy and time consuming updates in a matter of days.
