After suffering through a couple of 95% hangups I download the update file using the link in Post #1.
Still takes a while to install, but it was a success!
I had the same issue, stuck at 95% for more than 1 hour, used the direct link, it installed with no problems.

The download was quite quick <4 minutes. The subsequent update didn't go well. Looked like Defender was running a scan and the MSR tool decided to run. The stood off for about 30 minutes. Then I got one of these: "There were some problems installing updates, but we'll try again later. If you keep seeing this and want to search the web or contact support for information, this may help: (0x800705b4)". Did a search on the abend code and it stated exactly what was happening Defender scan vs MSR. Re-booted, ran a manual Defender scan and retried the update. The update took 8 minutes, and then requested a restart. It did and *sigh* Restart is now broke on my system again (note it was fixed with the previous CU).

Its now running, every thing looks ok, decided to let the little laptop get its medicine update, because it may take alot longer there.

EDIT: The laptop took 23 minutes for the entire process, no problems whats so ever.

Windows 10 Cumulative Update KB3206632 Obviously Hit by Installation Issues

The suggested fix is to disable DiagTrack service, at least during the update.

I have it already off, download took 3 mins, install 2 mins, restart 5 mins.

Disk Cleanup with Reset command and a few others took 20 mins.

Update downloaded 237MB on x64 system (KB3209498 included).

This one seemed to go better for me than other recent ones: got it installed without a hitch on all systems where I tried Settings --> Update & Security, and also on all systems where I used WUMT instead. Don't notice any obvious issues, but wish I'd seen TairikuOkami's post about disabling DiagTrack: my updates uniformly took longer than reported in the preceding post. Sigh.

This one was very quick and easy. I was so surprised to see it so early in the morning on Tuesday, they usually get to me afternoon on Patch Tuesday.

    But all is good.

Same here on 1 laptop, no problem with desktop & tablet. Could only find 1 report on Insider Feedback hub.

Time for a new PC perhaps? Cleaning up? Virus holding everything down? Defragging?
