Is internet explorer totally gone in that leaked version or is still in the program files folder?
It HAS to be there of course as EDGE won't allow Local browsing (e.g //localhost or things like 192.168.x.x) so if you have servers with a web interface that use those sorts of addresses then Edge is of no use.

You can also set it back as the default browser too.

Confirmed - Fast ring won't stick --but I have another machine with 10130 on it so I'll keep 10147 until an Official release comes out -- can't be long now as I'm sure Ms want to get at least one full test out before jul 29. I'll get the official release on the machine with the 10130 build.

    Cheers

If you update 10130 with an M$ account it allows the fast ring update...see post 239 for confirmation.

I read, in the last couple of days, that the fast ring has stopped, as it is close to a finished product and no bug hunting is required (Huh!. But, looking through blogs..etc... I cannot verify it.

Edge, while it may not be IE is still the browser that sucks for compatibility with sites that just work with FF/Chrome/Safari.......It's got lots of issues just like IE but it's got a new name

Actually Edge is worse than IE, with IE you could set compatibility mode to sort out the screws ups, Edge doesn't allow you to roll compatibility back to it's IE origins.
Agree totally with your above comments, add on the complex mess in the setup for favourites, how novices will manage to sort them out after updating and importing them from another O/S does not bode well publicity wise, lets hope that Edge not being a finished product, that it can be simplified.

Dave. Have just checked and I still have the option of both Fast and Slow ring.
