@Edwin I can't reproduce that bug on my PC. Turning that option off clears them from my Start menu.

No, I never use any Accessibility options.

I have restored the scaling level to 100% and tried changing the size from the Display menu, in Settings. The result is that now those windows display properly but the text in them is horrible.

Compare the text in the Device Manager window with the text in the Display window. I don't know how it appears in your screens but in my system it shows awful.

Anyway, I don't think that there is a solution to this, I just posted this here because perhaps it might occur to someone else, as well. I believe that all I can do is wait for the next TP build.

    Thank you.
Is this pic from the primary display or the extended display?
What are the native resolutions of each?
Try duplicate these displays & see if it's any better.

Thanks @linw. It's getting worse over here. They come in sporadically. I had 14 of them hit within two minutes.

Already left feedback, so I'll just deal with it until after New Years when a new build drops. It's an odd thing though.

Hello, and thank you for your concern.

As shown in the screenshot of my post #685 this is my primary display. My monitors, as well as their resolutions, are shown in my System Specs, and I am always running both of them in their native resolutions. Duplicating my displays would have no meaning since I am always using them extended.

I've currently settled (compromised) by changing the size of text, apps, and other items from the Display Settings, instead of the custom scaling level I have been always using. But this results in very poor text quality in the Device Manager and all the other components, as I already said.

Finally, my personal and subjective opinion is that this issue has to do with the recent "Updated Rendering Technology", mentioned in the first post of this thread. It might take a while until they will fix this.

    Thank you.

New build for MB 3 (3.0.5.1299) has been released.

    Latest Version of Malwarebytes

    • Does not fix the problem with Edge browser in this build.
    • Does not fix the problem with PowerPoint (current version).

Thanks, John. I believe that came out Monday, 12/19. Odd how it won't update by itself. Have to DL the installer to get it.

Yeah, found that is myself. My guess is that if they enable the auto download then everyone, even MBAM 2 users will get the download, and they have promised not to do that yet.
