Maybe mine is all good because I never have all the so-called prog/data saving stuff on.

Plain old fashioned sleep, with no fancy stuff, is the go here at chez linw!
Lin, I didn't change my power options at all; never do.

Interesting, Instead of allowing hybrid sleep, I disable it, and I also disable any sort USB power saving options as well. And I am not seeing this issue that you all are.
    Do you have Logitech wireless?

It's not really important Wynona :) Usually a smaller button under (or near) power button (in picture it's bellow power)

I haven't seen one of those in years! Used to be next to the 'Turbo' button :)

You probably don't build your own PCs? Most custom build cases have this button. But I do remember those turbo's, too :)

Fractal Design case bellow in picture...

    I've read ahead, Andre. :)

I vaguely remember reset buttons now. I remember turbo buttons a little better. However, it has been years and years since I've seen either one on a computer.

As far as building my own, I just looked at one I built quite a few years ago and the case is so old it still has an opening for the floppy drive, but there's still nothing but the power button. No reset button to be found. Not even a turbo button.

It's been awhile since I've bought a new case, but I've looked at them and don't recall a reset button on any. Not even the turbo button.

Never mind :) Did you try removing that USB input device which I mentioned before? You do have Logitech wireless? It solved my problem for now.

Was that a 3.5" floppy or a 5.25" floppy I have home-builts with each... but like you, it's been ages since I've built my own.

If you don't know what those are, then you certainly won't know what the 8" floppy is! Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14986 for PC-d-r.gif
