    1. No third party AV apps. Just Windows Defender.
    2. Still same.
    3. Disk usage at 0 most of the time. Spikes a little*but nothing passes 10% when opening some apps.
This might be something in our build then.

See anyone else saying anything similar on the Feedback hub? (not just deleting, see copying / moving as well)

I am b---s deep in working on my Internet connection and figuring put my own issues right now. Team into a System Service Exception with tcpip.sys, and upon reboot MB3 is not running. Trading over the ,B forums, I see at least 2 issues that others are reporting.

You spend a full day working on something you want to be sure is so fail proof that if and when fellow members follow the instructions exactly as written, precisely and step by step, you can be sure it works for them.

Then you read something like this:

I know the ESDtoISO doesn't work. Going to try Kari's method and skip a few steps.
Just joking Francis, don't take this too seriously :)

Was drinking coffee reading this thread, that post made me laugh so badly I once again have some coffee stains on my shirt and trousers.

I think Kari's new tutorial uses the installed OS. IOW, if you were on build 14971, his method would make an installable .ISO of your installed 14971 build, and depending upon which method you choose, also have all the user accounts you have set up as well as the programs you have installed.
    Correct.

Everything in that tutorial can be done with any build and edition of Windows 10 (and 7, 8 & 8.1). A convenient way to test it is to find version 1607 build 14393 ISO from your archives, capture the install.wim file from latest Insider build installation, and make a new ISO from those two, 14986 (or 14971, 14965...) install.wim and rest from 14393.

    It results a 14986 (or 14971, 14965...) ISO.

Recycle bin ? Yes it's slow but as far as I can tell, it empties just as fast as ever it just takes longer time to show as empty bin. If I refresh desktop (F5) it changes to empty immediately.

But I have never had to hit refresh like that before. It always updated instantaneously.

So you're updates without having to hit refresh?

Yes, just because of those posts I opened recycle bin and have it opened while deleting file. It appeared immediately.

    Odd.

Even more odd - my 256 GB SSD, where I moved my \Users tree, is showing 144 GB used. It was ~30 yesterday.

    WTF?

BTW, does anyone have a whole slew of files (~3 GB worth) in C:\ProgramData\Package Cache? Mine are all dated Thursday....

not here, just around 13 MB. But while checking I bumped in another strange behavior... Windows explorer doesn't show hidden files. I can set it in Folder view options, but it won't stick....

Sorry about your trousers. :) Why do you think that Esd file is there?
