- Are you running any third party security software (Anti Malware, Anti Virus, firewall, etc)?
- What happens if you use [SHIFT] + [DELETE] (which bypasses the Recycle Bin) - does the file delete immediately or still take a long time to delete?
- What does your computer's disk usage in Task Manager look like?
I'm having the same problem. The Recycle Bin worked perfectly until 14986. I am using custom icons rather than the default ones and originally had to add ,0 after each entry in the Registry (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\CLSID\{645FF040-5081-9F08-00AA002F954E}\DefaultIcon) to make them work correctly. Now there's no difference whether the ,0 entries are there or not. Action for icon switch in filling and emptying the Recycle Bin is now dependent on a refresh.
My problems with Edge are related to MBAE, if anyone is interested... MBAE enabled and CPU usage hits 100%. Disabling MBAE solwes the problem.
I started trying to figure this out. So I went to my host machine which is currently downloading Snappy Driver Install, plus has a VM running on it that is downloading build 14986.
I wanted to test deleting a large file (the 14986 .ISO i created using Kari's .ESD file.
Every time I try to copy that file to another drive, I get an error copying.
I wonder if all these problems are related? I'm going to eventually kill everything and restart the machine and see if my copying issues are still present.
