Way too much talk on getting the ESD, back to the real thread topic, now a post about the new build and what I like:

    I...
    really...
    like...
    the new Defender UI!:)
Specially that it uses the system UWP color choice.
I still have the old UI. How did you access the new UI?

Edit. Found it. I was accessing defender by typing in defender in the start menu.

The new Defender UI will be a nice improvement once they get it working. I tried to change the settings but they are grayed out.

But only a few. We've had to go to settings app, for those a while now anyhow, so no problem there, and those settings are usually "set it & forget it":):

In the new UI all my settings are grayed out. The first thing I noticed in the new UI and had me worried was that it showed Real-time protection as being off. In settings it set to on. The new UI will be a definite improvement when finished. :)

It sure will. Personally I like the UWP look and even though I have desktop versions of many of the apps and such, I find I use the UWP more on a daily basis.

Has any more settings been moved from Control Panel?

I don't see anything that was moved from CP, some things are just duplicated to other places in settings.

I wonder if MS still plans to remove Control Panel. It's been awhile since they moved anything to Settings.
