    Hi,

    Et voila, ISO created:

    14986.1000.160101.WINBUILD_CLIENTPRO_OEMRET_X64FRE_EN-US.ISO

I'll start a clean install in a couple of minutes and report back ASAP.

    Cheers,

    Hi,

I've already sent detailed feedback on that, Andre.

PS: DL finished. I'm converting to ISO with WIM in a minute.

    Cheers,
It is wise (sometimes) to wait for second opinion @fdegrove :)

And thanks to @Bat 1 for posting solution here (if I remember correctly) :)

I think you're right. We'll have to wait til Kari makes an tutorial before next drop/next build.

I know it will set a cat among the pigeons....I really don't think M$ hoped or thought that Insiders would be more interested in creating an ESD/ISO than trying to make W10 a better product by sorting out bugs or making suggestions for improvement....most of this thread suggests members insecurity without an ESD/ISO comfort blanket.....oh dear I do hope I have not upset anyone.
Hmmm, I believe we have Windows Backup as a security blanket provided by Microsoft. I'm pretty sure MS knows a lot of us use Macrium Reflect as our security blanket. I view an ISO of my current Build as just one more layer to my security blanket.

I don't believe Microsoft changed its delivery system to UUP just to foil those of us who want to create our own ISOs (for backup puposes); I believe their sole goal is to get new bits to us in as timely a manner and with as much practicality as possible.

Further, I don't believe that being able to create an ISO from an .ESD file is in any way at odds with, nor does it detract from "trying to make W10 a better product by sorting out bugs or making suggestions for improvement". I am very interested in doing both, and I'm pretty sure the majority of folks here are as interested in both as I am.

Besides, have you ever known Insiders to turn down a challenge? Even one as unexpected as this one? And, it looks like the challenge has been met and conquered!

You can always start a VM, install latest ISO you have, or Macrium backup, or download previous slow ring ISO from MS..
Change that registry key and upgrade...

Oh, but then I don't think my opinion matters much in the grander scheme of things.
