That had me worried for a few seconds Brian, I fly out to NZ on Tuesday night and after reading Dona's comment had a sudden horrible feeling that I'd missed my flight

I'm guessing that tweet means 2 things: Dona still hasn't recovered from welcoming in the new year and we can expect a new build on Thursday.

I actually checked the calendar to make sure I hadn't slept through Monday somehow. hahaha

I think both of those things are probably accurate.

Dona is still in Hong Kong, holidays. Her today is our tomorrow, which makes tomorrow the today she's having now.

I thought this might be useful information for any Miracast users:

I was wondering why my network data usage was showing WiFi being used almost 3 times more than Ethernet, although I use Ethernet exclusively having WiFi disconnected, using WiFi only when on the road which has not happened too often lately. Screenshot of Data Usage:

Checking the details I noticed that the process using most of WiFi was WUDFHost, Windows Driver Foundation User-mode Driver Framework Host Process:

Researching this a bit, I found out that me missing my native languages Finnish and Swedish in my expat life is the culprit, me streaming TV from Finland. Like in most laptops, I can only connect one external display to this one. To be able to watch my Finnish subscription IPTV on third display, I have a Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter connected to a Philips smart TV (smart but too old to have its own Miracast support).

This works well. I use laptop's built-in display and an external display connected with HDMI for my work and browsing, having almost always the Miracast connected TV as third display showing Finnish TV stream on Chrome, a browser I don't like but which works best with this service.

Checking Task Manager I can see that when Miracast is used, WUDFHost uses constantly 10 to 20 Mbps for upload, to cast the stream:

It has four processes open as can be seen in Task Manager but luckily it is using relatively little resources:

    My point:
If you are using Miracast, do not wonder when your WiFi usage looks weird. Also, if you have some bandwidth limits from your ISP, there's no reason to be worried; the WiFi usage shown and caused by Miracast is internal having none whatsoever effect in your bandwidth usage and ISP's bill.

...[snip] An example: doing it this way user Betty Ilana Tchaikovski with Microsoft Account email b.i.tchaikovski@SomeEmailProvider.com gets user profile named as Betty Ilana (or anything else she prefers) instead of Bitch which would be the user profile name if user account was created as Microsoft account.[snip]...
    Oh! I can't stop laughing!
