Windows 10: Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14986 for PC Insider
I think Redstone is the project name and the anniversary edition was part 1 so Redstone 1 would be correct.
Try running sfc /scannow at least 3 times.
I've seen others report when using Edge it posts the weird asterisk like that. Can't remember the fix, or if there is one.
Have noticed it on a couple of my posts....have gone back to Edit to delete as thought had accidently typed it.
Just love the xmas spirit with your add ons

What is the Windows 10 Anniversary Update?
- The Windows 10 Anniversary Update is a free upgrade for Windows 10 PC's and devices coming this summer. The original codename for Windows 10 Anniversary Update was 'Redstone' which is still used on developer previews.
Actually he is right, the media called it Redstone 1, not Microsoft.
Thanks dencal. I had a blinky light epiphany.
Thanks to "F14Tomcat" for the ESD for 14971. I installed this version, set the Insider for "fast" and now downloading 14986.

I've tried to use Edge after each new Build is released. Yes, it's quirky, and there are things I like about it, but there are still too many things I don't like about it.
I'm very glad you and others use it full time; I wish I could, but for now, I can't take the time to sort things out; too many important things I need to get done.
Make that video!
There is no need for a video, you either use it, or you don't. Just like any other foist ware
