    Defender has let me down more than once, so I don't think I'll ever be able to fully trust it again.

    I can understand that, it does depend on surfing habits, and if the sites(trusted ones too!) have been compromised.

    Hi,

    When I think about all the trouble you sometimes encounter to remove, not mention the overhead, of some AV programs I'll gladly accept some minor shortcomings of Win Defender I encountered in the past.

    I find it pretty slick and unobtrusive nowadays.
    And yes the emperor's new clothes sure look nice too.

    Wyn, if I may ask, what's your fav AV ?

    Actually, I don't surf that much. I pretty much stick to certain sites, although I have been suckered. That's supposed to be what Defender's for.
