Clearly looks like that. In version 1703, I believe.

It might be that quite a many geeks are downloading at the same moment, and that creates some issues.

I did test the download and ISO creation before posting the link, both ESD files are fully functioning.

Yes, I will not remove them. If you have any issues downloading them, let me know and I'll try to find another solution.

Win10 has Hyper-V built in, and Kari has a great tutorial on how to set it up.
    Also free is VirtualBox.
Home does not support Hyper-V. Also recommend vmware over virtual box as virtual box has been more troublesome with windows 10.

Here we go again - guessing the version number again. Perhaps we should run a book on the build number as well??

    Hi,

Well, there's some good news and some not so good news.
Having created a bootable usb stick using the ISO file I decided it was time to put it to test.
It booted , launched setup but then it immediately complained about some "images" missing. A deja vu as I've seen this happen before.

Tried with a newly created stick but the exact same scenario. No cigar again so I decided to mount the ISO file from Windows, launch setup.exe from it and all went without a glitch. Go figure.

So, the ISO is usable to do an in place upgrade and quite probably as a source to repair a damaged image. Haven't tried the latter yet since there's nothing to repair... as yet. (sarc)

No clue what's wrong with my ISO, the ESD's Hash 1 is fine and I used ESD to ISO to create it. Even created a new one but no, it still won't play along. Strange.

    Cheers,
Did you use Rufus to create your USB stick, Frank? If not, you may want to try that.

The easy way is via Powershell!

That's quite an educated guess even if I say so myself. Original Windows 10 release is version 1507, released in July 2015. November update is version 1511, released in November 2015. Anniversary update is version 1607, although released in August 2th this year the version number reflects the Anniversary of releasing Windows 10, therefore version 1607.

Microsoft has announced that the next big update will come in March 2017, hence version 1703.

Really, I am not claiming to know that will be the next major Windows version number. However, that's the only logical version number if the update arrives when promised, in March 2017.
