    Hi,

Yes, it is hidden. You need to enable "Show hidden system files" in explorer first.
Browsing the mounted WinRE reveals that it contains all that's needed to perform a full repair install it seems.

It also renders the original 450Mb recovery partition useless so for those of you counting on your modified wim file there....

Either way, plenty of room for experimenting with the new toy. :)

    Cheers,

For folks with MBAM/MBAE/MBARW issues - Marcin just announced the actual RTM release of MB 3.0

Announcing Malwarebytes 3.0, a next-generation antivirus replacement - Malwarebytes News - Malwarebytes Forums

    Relevant FAQs:

I’m an existing subscriber of Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. How much do I have to pay?

You don’t have to pay anything extra. Even though Malwarebytes 3.0 sells for $39.99, we are grandfathering ALL our existing customers at their original price. So if your subscription is currently $24.95, that is the price it will remain at, and you can get Malwarebytes 3.0 without having to pay anything extra. Your existing license key will work automatically with Malwarebytes 3.0.

I have a Malwarebytes Anti-Malware lifetime license. Will it work for Malwarebytes 3.0?

Yes! Simply install Malwarebytes 3.0 on top of your Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and your lifetime license will automatically apply to Malwarebytes 3.0.

Which Operating Systems does Malwarebytes 3.0 work under?

We continue to support all versions from Windows XP to Windows 10. Our Anti-Ransomware technology is only enabled on Windows 7 and higher.

How do I upgrade my Malwarebytes Anti-Malware to Malwarebytes 3.0?

Simply download and run the installer from here. Malwarebytes 3.0 will automatically upgrade Malwarebytes Anti-Malware 2.x to Malwarebytes 3.0 and apply its license key accordingly.

How do I upgrade to Malwarebytes 3.0 if I also have Anti-Exploit or Anti-Ransomware installed?

Simply download and run the installer from here. Malwarebytes 3.0 will automatically remove the old Anti-Malware, Anti-Exploit and Anti-Ransomware and upgrade them all to Malwarebytes 3.0.

That's enabled together with Show hidden system files but picture is from Easus Partition Master.

    Yep, I figured that out.
I used an MR image to explore and mount the wim file.

I've noticed that the MB 3.0 also has the same issue with Edge - simply disabling Edge protection does not work, I have to disable Exploit protection completely. I'm reporting this now to MB, hopefully we can figure out which advanced setting can be tweaked to allow MB / MBAE to work with Edge.

Odd. I have 0 issues after the upgrade. Have you tried rolling back and then try upgrading again?

Well, I tried the solution in this site, and worked as intended :)
    Thanks!

I got asked how happy I was with the upgrade process. I let them have an earful about the lack of the .ESD file to make bootable .ISOs for offline installation.

I know this was posted before. Just to add my data. I was put in slow ring, like some others... So just upgrade recently showed up.

Don't see any point in this UUP, upgrade downloaded 4.3 GB not much different than before...
